Samantha Mohr
Mohr was one of the UGA student and entered her first pageant after being suggested by a friend. She was awarded Miss Columbus 1985. She was then eligible participate in Miss Georgia. Miss Georgia pageant, which began in June. Mohr received crowning Miss Georgia in 1985 on the 22nd June, 1985. Mohr earned over $3500 in scholarships and other prizes at the state pageant. In her role as Miss Georgia Her activities comprised public appearances across Georgia. Georgia. Mohr was Georgia's representative. attended Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September of 1985. Mohr was able to predict the likelihood that Susan Akin would win Miss America by computer modeling. The odds for his success were 22:1. Mohr did not make the top 10 list of candidates for the title of Miss America. Mohr served as Miss Georgia for a total of ten seasons, and was not crowned until Marlesa Bal, her successor in the title was declared Miss Georgia 1986, on June 28 June, 1986.
